Okay, well I felt the need to write another journal. I don't really know why.

Over last night, and this morning I was busy deleting every single post I'd ever made on my favorite, and first RP site, TTX. This morning I left the place, and deleted my account, washed my hands of the place. I just need to leave it behind me as much as I love everyone there, and as much as they may love me, and as much as I'd love to stay. I just love the place. I just can't stay.

And it turns out Frostbite has finally come back from sheezyart, and I'll probably get him to go over to the new TTX. That'll be cool for him, I hope. Considering Karma, and Lilly are both active members. He might have some fun, hopefully.

Yesterday morning I woke up at five to get ready for a Debate tournament. Got there at six, put my tub in the suburban, and got packed in. I sat in the front on the way there. I lost some cards on the way while getting back in the car after a quick bathroom stop for Amanda. I also kept Sierra, and Casey from wasting our time buying crap. We didn't have any time for that stuff.

First round went alright, though we lost. Second round was decent, but there was a lot we could've done better. They didn't even have a plan text. It was somewhat embarrassing that I never made that a real point. And I could've run at least three more topicality arguments. I don't really remember the third one at all.

The fourth had the stupid guy. Every time he wanted to talk to his partner he'd ball his shirt tails up in his shirt, and pull them over his head like a tunnel then lean over the table to talk to her. They were running an Oral Health Affirmative, and I ran US federal Government topicality, as well as a topicality on Substantially. Hell, they didn't even meet the resolution. They weren't even touching the US federal government. (standards and voters were-Predictable limits, and Education/Ground-They dropped both topicality arguments entirely) The stupid idiot of a judge freaking voted for them. They won the round for absolutely no reason. We were more convincing, had better points, and were making better arguments, and they still won, because the stupid bitch didn't flow and didn't know what an argument looks like.

The last round was hellaciously good though. We met some nice people from, I think it was Winfield. They were negative so they were at a severe disadvantage. We had aff, I had experience, and we have an ultimately unbeatable Noma 1AC, so of course they didn't do so well. However I think they did really well up until their 2NR. When they got to their last speech, the girl forfeited. She'd said things like "We're sorry. This is our first tournament, and we haven't ever done anything like this before. We're pretty stupid, and we know we probably shouldn't do this, so we'd like to state that we have no evidence, nor any substantial arguments against their case, so we forfeit. The negative team highly encourages an affirmative ballot."

It was at this point that, like a good debater, I started making arguments to their speech. I had Dow go up there and say "In reply to the second negative rebuttalist- 1. You both are not stupid. You are exceedingly smart people, given a hard time. We're both tired and hungry and want to go home. 2. You two are exceedingly good debaters. Had you continued to argue your points, and press on it is highly likely that you would have won this round. 3. Judge, though regretfully, it has to be said that the negative has forfeited this round, and so we can say nothing more, but that you should vote affirmative."

Afterwards I shook their hands about four times in the room. Talked to the kid who'd judged our round, and been told to call Alex 'Thunderbear' and then when we saw the two again the cafeteria, we shook their hands again. It was an overall good round, they were nice people, and I had a good time. I had to theank them, and talk to them, and just be a nice person. If you're not a nice person what's the point of being a person at all eh?

But somewhat out of debate mode. Just a quick reference point in my history. My dad woke me up this morning to go to Gramma Katy's birthday party. She's really getting on in years. I was too tired, I'd just have felt awkward, and been ignored the entire time. I'd probably just have wandered off to go do my own thing while they all did whatever they do, like I always do. I felt bad about it later, but not too much. I may be a little heartless, but I'm not incapable of feeling guilty.

Nah, I wouldn't say I'm better than he is, I'd say we're around the same level.

And thanks!, I worked pretty hard on the Saito sig, and it's gotten some good reviews from people I've showed it too.

As regards your art, if you need it edited in any way, don't hesitate to ask, it'll be good practice for me.
